Iran leadership should respect the will of the people

The Coalition today urged the Iranian leadership to show restraint in dealing with protestors and to respect the will of the Iranian people with regard to the recent disputed election result, Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs Julie Bishop said.

Ms Bishop said the people of Iran have the right to choose their system of Government and who leads their nation.
